I'm Luke Koek - Energizerman at Energize Personal Training

I have over 13 years of fitness industry experience and have worked with hundreds of personal training clients. That’s more than 13 years of passion, personal experience & ongoing investments helping me obtain the broad range of knowledge I have to this day – which I can now pass on to you!

I believe in doing the hard yards at the beginning of any career is what creates your level of success in life. With experience working in over ten reputable gyms around Adelaide, I used to train 10-12 clients per day, 54 Sessions per week of high energy back to-back PT sessions.

My extensive knowledge base on all aspects of my profession has been from working with real people for over a decade while also investing endless hours of my own self-development through coaches, seminars, podcasts, and learning. This includes coaching for Strength & Conditioning, Nutritional Science, Holistic Well-being & Nutrition by elite leaders of the fitness industry including Layne Norton, Nick Cheadle, James Cant, Grace Shelmerdine and Nick Jones to name a few.

Personal Experience

Having personally entered and successfully competed at numerous Fitness & Body-Building shows in Adelaide and interstate – I KNOW what being at 7% body fat feels like, and how hard it is to achieve. While I also know what it feels like to gain 10kgs in one week from being on hard-core restrictive diets. I know understand that there is a better way of dieting.

I have done it all, and tried it all when it comes to Low-carb, Paleo, Clean eating, Vegan based, and Crash diets. Plus adding in loads of unnecessary supplements. What all of these have in common is their restrictive nature which eventually take a hard toll on your mind and body causing yoyo dieting and never truly getting the results you want.

Spending 3 years as a chef and completing Certificates III & IV in Hospitality has also provided me with such a strong passion and knowledge for Nutrition, and skills for creating such great tasting Menus.

My Fitness Approach

The last 5 years I have focused my career on helping people transform their lives through an Online Coaching system that utilises Flexible Dieting style Meal Guides and The Pillars of Health that I believe are the key to achieving a well balanced lifestyle for happiness and success, while achieving great results and loving the process at the same time.

When it comes to health, fitness, nutrition, and training clients I understand that everyone is different, but everyone needs ACCOUNTABILITY and a positively-geared KICK IN THE ARSE to achieve their goals and dreams! As a result I have helped transform people’s lives with weight loss goals achieved ranging from 12 – 60kgs.

I KNOW what works, and my long list of clientele transformations truly show the extent of my skills and knowledge in providing clients with high quality and long-term sustainable results.

I am well known for my Food Wizardry in creating delicious tasting recipes and meal guides that are customised to my clients goals.
